Durango Strong: Back & Better Than Ever!

Train Ride in Animas River

June was a month of hardship for Durango this year, but we are thankful for our community in times like these. The outpouring of support we have witnessed is what makes this place so special. Thankfully, the 416 Fire is no longer active and poses no threat to people at this time. This trial has reminded us of the true strength and resilience of Durango and its residents. We are especially grateful to the many fire crews, law enforcement, first responders, city and county employees, and local volunteers who have worked tirelessly to protect this community.

Luckily, the summer isn’t over just yet, and our town is ready for visitors to come and have fun! The majority of local tourism attractions are back open for business. So don’t postpone your trip to our lively town any longer! This fire will not impact your vacation plans, and we welcome all guests to come stay with us at our luxury bed and breakfast this season.
